like my profile says, i'm very much into ebay. and there - i find some stuff iLikeylike. all sorts of stuff - mostly toys. here's my latest find: 90210 dolls. 90210 is a teen-oriented program which really set the trend in the early 90's. they have merchandise usually marketed for teenagers like t-shirts, posters, tapes, and CDs. i never thought that i could find 90210 in the toy department. anyways, these dolls are awesome considering they were made in the year 1991 (the time that toys looked less appealing than their onscreen counterparts). as far as the guys are concerned, the face sculpts are fairly accurate. on first sight, my mom was able to recognize jason priestley/brandon and luke perry/dylan. the guys' bodies are generic 90s Ken bodies but their clothes are hip! as far as the girls are concerned, brenda and kelly really look like shannen doherty and jennie garth on a closer view and their clothes are outrageous! my sole objection with regards to the girls is with donna / tori spelling because the doll version looks prettier than her at that time. i mean, mattel got her nose (can convince you that it's really tori), but over-all she looks too pretty to be tori spelling at that time. anyways, i'm only beginning with toy photography so please bear with my snapshot... it will get better in time... enjoy! p.s. don't forget to answer the poll. thanks :)
